Mr. Zhengjun Fu: Chairman, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Group
Mr. Zhengjun Fu is the Chairman, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Group. Mr. Fu is responsible for the overall strategic planning, management and operations of the Group. From 2000 to 2004, prior to founding the Group, Mr. Fu was the Chief Technology Officer of Tiantu Information Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Mr. Fu was an engineer at Zhejiang Data Communications Administration Bureau from 1999 to 2000. Mr. Fu has approximately 13 years of experience in the Internet industry and received a bachelor’s degree in computer science application from Zhejiang University of Technology in 1999.
Mr. Shi'en Mai: Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Group and acting Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Shi’en Mai is the Executive Director and the Chief Operating Officer of the Group. Mr Mai joined Tian Ge in August 2012 as the Chief Financial Officer of the Group. In April 2014, Mr. Mai was named Chief Operating Officer of the Group and is responsible for the overall operation of the Group and mergers and acquisitions, as well as the Group’s strategic planning and implementation. Mr. Mai has approximately 10 years of experience in the Internet and financial management industry. Prior to joining our Group, Mr. Mai was an Executive Director and the Chief Financial Officer of Shanghai Nineyou Internet Technology Co. Ltd. from 2005 to 2012. Between 2003 and 2005, Mr. Mai worked at Praxair (China) Investment Co., Ltd. From 1998 to 2003, Mr. Mai worked in the auditing departments of several top global accounting firms including Ernst & Young, Arthur Anderson and KPMG.
Mr. Mai graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1998, where he received a bachelor’s degree in international finance. He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) admitted by China Institute of Internal Audit in 2004 and a Chinese Institute Certified Public Accountant (CICPA) admitted by Shanghai Certified Public Accountant Association in 2009.
Non-executive Directors
Mr. Chengyu Mao: Non-Executive Director of the Group
Mr. Mao Chengyu is the Non-executive Director of the Group. Mr. Mao was appointed to the Board of the Group on December 2008, as a director representative of Series B Pre-IPO Investors. He was designated to our Board as a Non-executive Director in March 2014.
Mr. Mao has served as a partner of IDG Capital Partners since 2012. Mr. Mao joined the Shanghai Branch of IDG Investment Consulting (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (“IDG Shanghai Branch”) as investment manager and vice president from 1999 to 2006. Mr. Mao was named partner of IDG Shanghai Branch in 2006 and served in that capacity until 2012. Mr. Mao was a business manager at Unilever (China) Co., Ltd. in 1999.
Mr. Mao received a bachelor’s degree in industrial foreign trade from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1993 and an MBA degree in 1999 from China Europe International Business School in Shanghai.
Mr. Herman Yu: Non-executive Director of the Group
Mr. Herman Yu is a Non-Executive Director of the Group. Mr. Yu was appointed as a director representative from SINA HK to our Board in March 2014. Mr. Yu has served as the Chief Financial Officer of SINA Corporation (NASDAQ:SINA) since August 2007. Mr. Yu joined SINA Corporation in September 2004 as the vice president and corporate controller and worked in the capacity of the acting Chief Financial Officer from May 2006 to August 2007.
Prior to joining SINA, Mr. Yu worked at Adobe Systems from January 1999 to September 2004, serving in different capacities including Chief Auditor and Corporate Marketing Controller. Mr. Yu has been a Director of 58.com Inc. (NYSE:WUBA) since October 2013. Mr. Yu received a bachelor degree in economics from the University of California in June 1992 and masters of accounting degree from the University of Southern California in May 1993. He is a California Certified Public Accountant admitted by the California Board of Accountancy in September 1995.
Independent Non-executive Directors
Ms. Bin Yu: Independent Non-executive Director of the Group
Ms. Bin Yu was appointed to our Board as an Independent non-executive Director on June 16, 2014.
Ms. Bin Yu has been a director and the chief financial officer of Star Media China Limited, a company engaged in entertainment TV programs business, since December 2013 and May 2013 respectively. From August 2012 to April 2013, she was the senior vice president of Youku Tudou Inc., an NYSE-listed leading Internet television company in China. From January 2012 to April 2013 and from July 2010 to December 2011, she served as the chief financial officer and the vice president of finance of Tudou Holdings Limited (“Tudou”), respectively, a company engaged in the Internet television business. Prior to joining Tudou, from September 1999 to July 2010, she worked at KPMG and was promoted to a senior manager of KPMG Greater China region.
Ms. Yu obtained her bachelor degree from Xi’an Foreign Language University, master degree from the University of Toledo in the United States and an EMBA degree from INSEAD. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the United States admitted by the Accountancy Board of Ohio, a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“AICPA”) and a member of Chartered Global Management Accountant (“CGMA”).
Mr. Chak Man Wu: Independent Non-executive Director of the Group
Mr. Chak Man Wu was appointed to our Board as an independent non-executive Director on June 16, 2014. Mr. Wu has served as an Executive Director of 91 Wireless Websoft Limited (now known as Baidu 91 Wireless) from January 2011 to June 2014. From 2004 to 2011, Mr. Wu served as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for NetDragon Websoft Limited (0777.HK).
From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Wu served as the Chief Operating Officer for Octant Communication Inc. From 1995 to 1999, Mr. Wu was the Vice President of marketing for Beso Biological Research Inc. Mr. Wu received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley and MBA from Duke University.
Mr. Wing Yuen (Hubert) Chan：Independent Non-executive Director of the Group
Mr. Wing Yuen (Hubert) Chan was appointed as an Independent non-executive Director by the board on June 16, 2014. Mr. Chan has served as an Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Zhong Fa Zhan Holdings Limited (0475.HK). Mr. Chan was the Executive Director at China Pipe Group Limited (0380.HK) from 2007 to 2009 and also the Executive Director and the Chief Executive Officer of Interchina Holdings Company Limited (0202.HK) from 2002 to 2009.
Mr. Chan also served as an Independent non-executive Director of Rising Development Holdings Limited (1004.HK) from 1999 to 2007, and as a Director and Deputy General Manager of Guangdong Investment Limited (0270.HK) from 1997 to 2000. From 1987 to 1997, Mr. Chan worked for the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as Director of the Listing Division and Head of the China Affairs Department.
Senior Management
Mr. Weiwen Zhao: General Manager of Zhejiang Tiange
Mr. Weiwen Zhao is the General Manager of Zhejiang Tiange since April 2010. Mr. Zhao is responsible for the daily management of Zhejiang Tiange, including administration, HR, IT, finance, customer services, and Internet supervision. Mr. Zhao currently serves as a Director of Tianhu and is in charge of its daily management and development.
Mr. Zhao has approximately 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. From 1995 to 2010, Mr. Zhao was employed with China Telecom's Jinhua branch, where he was involved in building Internet network infrastructures and related projects.
Mr. Xiang Yan: Deputy General Manager and Executive Director of Star Power
Mr. Xiang Yan is the Deputy General Manager and Executive Director of Star Power since May 2013 and September 2013, respectively. Mr. Yan is responsible for the Group’s product development in Beijing as well as the overall daily management and operation of Star Power. Mr. Xiang has also been in-charge of the daily management of the Beijing Branches of Hantang and Xingxiu.
Prior to joining our Group, Mr. Yan worked at Sina Technology (China) Co., Ltd. (“Sina Technology”) from July 2004. Mr. Yan graduated from Sun Yat-Sen University with a bachelor’s degree in computer software.
